Thomas Hobbes believes that the illness is causing people to develop health problems in their bodies. Patients who are euthanized must take painkillers to help them die. They can’t function properly in their bodies and have suffered from pain in the past. Thomas Hobbes is not in agreement that theft shouldn’t be legalized because it is wrong to steal personal items belonging to someone without their consent. Criminals must make sacrifices to save their families, such as buying food or getting useful things. Thomas Hobbes supports the idea that government samples DNA from newborns to keep a database of crime scene DNA. As soon as a newborn is born, the mother is separated and the DNA sample of the child taken. Doctors use the samples of baby to study many different types disorders. The government keeps the DNA samples of newborn babies after their mother has given birth to prevent future crimes. They collect DNA samples from blood, hair and salvia to compare the DNA of a person to their family.
Thomas Hobbes also agrees that certain ethnic groups are arrested on suspicion of terrorism and then interrogated. Stereotypes are formed about ethnic groups based on their race, nationality and negative perceptions. Stereotypes may be dangerous or suspicious. Thomas Hobbes concurs that those who commit crimes against the law should be jailed for their actions. It is important that they are given a life term to ensure they don’t repeat the mistake. Thomas Hobbes is in agreement with the decriminalization of crimes. Criminals must be arrested, and warned not to commit another crime.
